Fall on the Farm

I love living on a farm...hobby farm?...zoo?! Whatever you want to call it.

I also love FALL! So here are some Fall farm photos (try saying that ten times quickly)!

A few of my Marans (the 's' is silent) chickens. They definitely have little personalities and they are kinda beautiful!

This hen is scoping me out. She wants to know if the camera is food...see that skepticism?

We live in a beautiful place. Sometimes it is easy to forget that with our busy schedules and endless to-do lists, but it is always rewarding to go for a walk in the woods. The creek is one of my favorite spots. Its name is "Mayhew Creek", the namesake of our house!

I hope you enjoyed some of these photos! Sometimes it is difficult to put into words what I see, especially when everything is constantly changing! I'm just glad I could get some of these pictures before everything turns white with the snow that will undoubtedly be coming in the next month or so!
