The truth is, I will never be a professional blogger. I don't think you are allowed to go months and months without blogging and still have a job when you come out the other side.
And that's ok...because, the truth is, I don't want to be a professional blogger.
I'm glad we got that cleared up. Plus, since this is my blog, and even though I might feel guilty about not blogging on my blog, there's no one to fire me!
So, you may ask, why have I suddenly decided that now is the time to write another post? What is so special about February 24th, 2014?
This impossibly cute blurry face:
And this one too:
Because when you live on a farm, simply looking at pictures of baby animals isn't enough anymore.
When you ask yourself, "What would my significant other/parents/landlord/roommates say if I brought home a baby [ fill in the blank with a cute bundle of fluff ]?", the answer will no longer be "NO"...it will be "Not again..".
In addition to these two cuties, we also purchased a bred (pregnant) alpine doe who is due next week. Her name is Pam! This will be my first experience with goat-birth, but if all goes well it should be great! We are expecting her to have one or two kids and hopefully enough milk to share a little with us.
Goat cheese anyone?
I <3 it when you get a new baby, I can come and visit and enjoy and then go home :)
ReplyDeleteYou mean you don't want to bottle feed them three times a day?? :)
ReplyDeleteHomemade goat cheese is the best <3 ...milking on the other hand can be an adventure haha, best of luck, their loads of fun :)
